Hello Abbot, just been through you blog, you have some very good images.
Good to see you get around the country, I have been working around the world but later this year I officially retire after a lifetime as a Television Cameraman (Doc`s).
I intend to explore this country as I will have the time with no constraints to come home, only when I want. I have you on my blog roll.

Hello.
I thank you for your kind comments.Coming from a professional cameraman makes it all the more gratifying. All photographic images on the blog were taken with a very old Fuji compact and more recently on the Nikon P6000 compact which double up on the scope for the birdwatching we do.

I see nothing wrong with your Fuji compact and your Nikon P6000 is a super Piece of equipment.
I have a few Canon digital SLR`s and find the smaller compact Canon just as good. Then just in case, I take all my camera`s where ever I go, you never know.
Next week we are off to New York for my last time working there, oh how I have enjoyed that, then I will retire and this summer (if we have one) myself and my wife also a photographer will invade Cornwall to explore all the places we have missed in the past, then its the rest of the country.
