Hi Sarah.

It is something I have never done taken a canal boat through the heart of England. What a peaceful experience giving a certain degree of good weather. I believe it is very expensive though...maybe not if a large family travels together.

It must be a very relaxing holiday if the weather is kind and once you are out of the *lock every hundred yards area*. Drinking, Fishing or just sunbathing as the shades of green just trickle by.
