Broken Camera

I fear the worse with my Nikon D300. The gremlins have struck and it will not come on at all. My SDHC card has blown and it is looking bad for the electronics of the camera. As soon as I know anything I will post on the blog...until then ..fingers crossed.

I hope it's not too serious, Trevor.

Hello Keith, Prospero.

I have taken it back to Steve and it will be sent off to be looked at. Expected to take four weeks before I get it back. I am still no wiser as to what has happened.
Have to look through the archives for a while.

This is not going to fix the camera Trevor but you have my heartfelt sympathy, I know how it feels.
Don`t the manufacturer, Nikon in your case, have a standard price, in my case it was a Canon, a year ago it just refused to come on and their standard price was £120, when it comes to cameras I paid it without quibble, yes I know its a lot of cash but I ha to have it fixed, I hope everything goes well.

Thanks Heiko.

I would gladly pay that if I could have my camera back tomorrow. Still it is under warranty and hopefully I will not have to pay. The long wait is a killer though.
